Is FarePerks really free?
Yes. There is no membership fee, no subscription and no credit card required to join. You only ever pay for the travel or products you choose to book.
How do the member rates work?
Your member portal is connected to closed-user-group travel inventory — rates suppliers make available only to members of a program, not to the open web. Prices vary by property and date: sometimes you'll beat the public listing, sometimes you'll match it. Either way the booking earns cash back.
Where does the cash back come from, and who holds it?
Hotels and brands pay a commission on bookings made through the platform. Instead of keeping all of it, FarePerks shares part of that commission with you — that's your cash back. Your member account and its balance are operated by LaaSy, Inc., the loyalty platform behind the FarePerks portal. Nothing is funded by membership fees, deposits or other members' signups.
When does my cash back show up?
Pending cash back appears in your account about 24 hours after the purchase is confirmed. It unlocks once the brand approves it — pending periods vary by retailer, and travel takes longer because trips can still be changed or cancelled.
Who am I actually booking with?
You book through the travel platform inside your member account, directly with the brand. Your confirmation comes from the hotel, airline or rental company just like any other booking.
What can I do with my cash back?
Whatever you want. Put it toward a hotel, flight or rental car, spend it on products from brands in the platform, or withdraw it to your own bank account whenever you like. It's real money, not store credit.
