FarePerks ("FarePerks", "we", "us") is operated by NPV, LLC dba FarePerks.com, 27068 La Paz Road, Suite 491, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656. This policy explains what we collect when you visit fareperks.com or use your FarePerks membership, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Name, email address and ZIP code when you create a free account, plus anything you send us by email.
- Booking information. When you book travel, the details needed to complete that booking are collected by our travel platform partner and the travel supplier. Payment card details are handled by them, not stored by FarePerks.
- Automatic information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and campaign parameters (such as utm_source or click IDs) collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To create and maintain your membership account.
- To provide member rates, process bookings and track and pay cash back.
- To send you member deals, travel offers and service messages — you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
- To measure and improve advertising, site performance and the member experience.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Our travel platform partner, which powers the member booking portal, member accounts and cash back tracking.
- Travel suppliers and retailers (hotels, airlines, rental car companies, transfer providers and participating merchants) as needed to complete a booking or purchase you make.
- Service providers that host the site, send our email, and provide analytics and advertising measurement.
- Legal and safety disclosures where required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. [If you use advertising pixels for retargeting, this may still count as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law — confirm with counsel and add a Do Not Sell or Share link if so.]
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember campaign attribution, and measure ad performance. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. [List the specific ad and analytics platforms you deploy.]
Email and SMS
By creating an account you agree to receive membership and travel offer emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. [If you add SMS, you need separate express written consent, disclosure of message frequency and rates, and STOP/HELP handling.]
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email privacy@fareperks.com. We will verify your identity before acting on the request and will not discriminate against you for making one.
Data retention and security
We keep account information for as long as your membership is active and afterward as needed for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
FarePerks is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify members by email.
